Airport & Port Delivery
LSM Car Luxury delivers your car straight to the arrivals hall at Olbia, Cagliari and Alghero airports, and to the island's principal marinas — from Porto Cervo to the port of Cagliari. A dedicated representative meets you with the paperwork already prepared: you sign, take the keys and drive off. At the end of the trip, return the car at the same point or at any other of the 27 destinations we cover.
How does delivery work when I land at Olbia, Cagliari or Alghero?
Everything starts with your flight number, which you share with the WhatsApp concierge when the booking is confirmed. On the day you arrive, our representative tracks your landing in real time and waits for you in the arrivals hall with the documentation already drawn up: signatures take a few minutes, and the car is parked just steps from the terminal — fully prepared, tank full. No shuttle buses to remote car parks, no queue at a rental desk: from the baggage carousel to the driver's seat in a single move.
The procedure is identical at all three of the island's airports. Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport is the natural gateway to Gallura and the Costa Smeralda; Cagliari Elmas serves the entire south, from Chia to Villasimius; and through Alghero Fertilia we cover the Coral Riviera and the north-west. Three airports, one standard: a dedicated representative and the car ready at the exit, whichever model you have chosen.
Arriving by sea — do you also deliver to ports and marinas?
Yes — and it is one of the requests we receive most often. We deliver to Marina di Porto Cervo, Marina di Olbia, Porto Rotondo, the port of Cagliari and Sardinia's main quaysides: the car is positioned on the dock, or at the closest point the facility allows, with timing and access agreed in advance with the marina's management — and, if you are arriving by boat, directly with your captain.
If you are stepping off the ferry — Isola Bianca in Olbia, Golfo Aranci, Porto Torres or Cagliari — the meeting point is just outside the port gates or at the foot of the ship, wherever the terminal permits. Your representative recognises you, completes the signatures with you and hands over the keys while the other passengers are still queuing for the exit. And if your final destination is Porto Cervo or another spot along the coast, you can simply have the car brought straight to where you are staying instead.
What if the flight is delayed or the ferry changes schedule?
Travel plans shift — especially in summer. That is why delivery is pegged to the actual time you arrive, not the one printed on your ticket. Your representative monitors the flight or ferry and moves the appointment accordingly, without you having to do a thing. And if the change comes from your side — a missed connection, a last-minute change of route — a single message to the WhatsApp concierge is enough to realign the meeting point and the time.
The same flexibility works in reverse. If your return flight leaves early, we arrange the airport hand-back in good time for check-in; if your sailing plan slips, the quayside appointment slips with it. Requirements and conditions are provided at the quotation stage.
Can I return the car somewhere different from where I picked it up?
Yes. The LSM network covers 27 destinations and 3 airports across Sardinia, and collection and return don't have to coincide. Land at Olbia, work your way south along the Orientale Sarda and fly home from Cagliari; step off the ferry at Porto Torres and leave the car at the marina in Porto Rotondo before going aboard. It is the most rational way to experience the island: never drive the same road twice.
And the logic extends well beyond ports and airports: our team also delivers and collects at hotels, villas and yachts, so the two points combine however you like — collection at arrivals, return at your villa gates.
